Apple Pecan Streusel Cake
Heat oven to 350º. Lightly grease bottom of a 9 x 13" baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs & almond extract; beat at low speed till moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Peel, core & slice apples; chop finely.
Pour ½ of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with chopped apples & ½ C. streusel mixture. Spread with remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining streusel mixture & chopped pecans. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until pick comes out clean. Cool completely. Drizzle glaze over cake. Yield: 15-20 servings.
