Banana Fudge Marble Cake


Cake:

1 package Duncan Hines fudge marble cake mix

2 eggs

1 C. mashed ripe banana

1/2 C. water

Frosting:

1 package (4 serving size) banana instant pudding mix

2 envelopes whipped topping mix

1-1/4 C. milk

Topping:

1 sliced banana

lemon juice

1/2 C. frozen whipped topping, thawed

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease & flour two 9" round cake pans. Combine cake ingredients in a large bowl. Prepare, bake & cool according to package directions.

For frosting- combine ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at high speed with an electric mixer for 2 to 3 minutes or until light & fluffy. Fill & frost cake. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

For topping- Dip banana slices in lemon juice. Blot dry on paper towel. Garnish cake with whipped topping & banana slices. Yield: 12 servings.
