Layered Brownie Gift Mix

Brownie Mix:
2-1/4 cups sugar
2/3 c. cocoa ( clean inside of jar with paper towel after this layer)
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1-1/4c. flour mixed with 1 tsp salt
Layer ingredients in jar in order given. Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.

Recipe to attach to jar:
Empty mix into large mixing bowl; stir to combine. Add 3/4c.melted butter and 4 eggs; mix thoroughly. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into squares.
