Chocolate Peanut Butter Pinwheels

1 C. butter..............................2-1/2 C. flour

2 C. sugar..............................1 t. baking soda

1 C. peanut butter..................1/4 t. salt

2 eggs....................................2 C. chocolate chips, melted

4 T. milk

Cream the butter & sugar. Add peanut butter, eggs, and milk. Stir until blended. Add the flour, soda, & salt and stir until thoroughly mixed. Divide the dough in half. On a lightly floured board or wax paper, roll out each half into a rectangle about 15"x8"x1/4" thick. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the dough. Roll up to form logs 15 " long and about 2" in diameter. Wrap tightly. refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes. Cut slices 1/4" thick. Bake on a ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.Yield: about 3 dozen
