Chocolate Scotcheroos


1 C. light corn syrup........6 C. RICE KRISPIES cereal

1 C. sugar.......................1-6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1 C. peanut butter...........1-6 oz. pkg. butterscotch morsels

Vegetable cooking spray

Measure corn syrup & sugar into large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, till sugar dissolves & mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, mix well. Add RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir till well coated. Press mixture into a 13x9x2" pan well coated with cooking spray. Set aside.

Melt chocolate & butterscotch chips together in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand till firm. Cut into bars when cool. Yield: about 24 bars.
