Picnic Cake
1 (28 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. butter
In a 9 x 13-inch pan pour the pineapple and it's juice. Crumble the dry yellow cake mix
evenly over the pineapple and then sprinkle the almonds over the cake mix. Dot the top
evenly with pats of butter. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool before cutting.
