Comfort Frosting Candy
2 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Boil sugar, syrup and water together until it makes a string 6 or 8 inches long.
Remove from heat and beat into egg whites. Add vanilla and beat until soft and
fluffy. Divide into two parts and roll out on waxed paper covered with powdered
sugar. Spread peanut butter on it and roll up. Cut in small pieces.
