Black Cherry/Cranberry Jello Mold
1 to 1- 1/2 qt. jello mold
1 (12 oz.) can frozen
concentrate cranberry juice
3 pkg. black cherry Jell-O
1 c. sour cream
1 c. fruit (preferably
strawberries/raspberries)
Defrost the cranberry juice and mix as directed. Pour 1
cup cranberry juice into a saucepan; bring to a boil. When
boiling, stir in one package black cherry Jell-O; mix well.
Pour into the jello mold and place in the refrigerator.
Pour 1 cup cranberry juice into a saucepan; bring to a
boil. Add another package of black cherry Jell-O; stir well.
Let sit in saucepan until slightly firm and then add the sour
cream. Stir sour cream gently into cranberry juice and then
mix with an electric hand mixer. When mixture is thoroughly
mixed, pour into refrigerated jello mold. Return to refrigerator.
Pour 1 cup cranberry juice into a saucepan; bring to a
boil. Add another package of black cherry Jell-O; stir well.
Let sit until lukewarm and then add 1 cup strawberries or
raspberries, including juices. Pour into top of jello mold.
Place in refrigerator and unmold to a serving plate just prior to serving.
