Orange Nut Bread


4-1/2 C. flour..........................2 T. grated orange peel
1-3/4 C. sugar.........................2 eggs
4 t. baking powder..................1 C. milk
1-1/2 t. salt.............................1 C. orange juice
1 t. baking soda.......................1/4 C. butter or margarine, melted
1-1/2 C. chopped walnuts

In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. Stir in nuts & orange peel. In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, juice & butter until smooth; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour into two greased 8x4x2" loaf pans; bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until a pick comes out clean. Cool in pans on a rack for 10 minutes, remove to rack to cool completely.
