Devil Dogs
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
7 plus Tbsp. cocoa
5 Tbsp. shortening
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Filling:
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 plus jar Marshmallow Fluff
(6 oz. jar)
Combine cake (Devil Dog) ingredients into mixing bowl and beat well. Using a
tablespoon, drop batter 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375
degrees oven for approximately 8 minutes.
Beat your filling ingredients until creamy. When cake is cooled, spread filling
between 2 Devil Dogs.
