Irish Christmas Cookies
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 c. Irish whiskey
1/4 c. candied citron, chopped
1/2 c. currants, blanched
1/4 c. chopped almonds
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs well. Add flour and Irish
whisky and beat until smooth. Add fruit and nuts; mix well. Drop dough by tablespoons onto
greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
