Snowy White Fudge
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. (5 oz.) evaporated milk
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow cream
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a rolling boil over
medium heat, whisking constantly to prevent scorching; continue for 5 minutes.
Remove from
heat; add marshmallow cream and stir until smooth. Add walnuts and vanilla; stir
until blended. Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Place on wire rack to
cool; cut into
squares. Yields about 3 pounds.
