Frozen Dessert


3 C. crushed Rice Chex
1/2 C. finely chopped nuts
1/2 C. brown sugar
2 C. flaked coconut
1/2 C. butter, melted
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
2 (6 oz.) cans frozen lemonade (can substitute frozen daiquiri mix)

Mix together Rice Chex, nuts, sugar, coconut and butter.
Pat 1/2 of this mixture (or a little less) in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix slightly softened ice cream and frozen mix together and spread over the crust and sprinkle the rest of the crust
mixture on top. Freeze. Garnish each serving with a whole fresh strawberry. Serves 10 to 12.
