Lemon Snowflakes

1 pkg. lemon cake mix with pudding in the mix

2-1/4 C. whipped topping (an 8 oz. container)

1 egg

Powdered sugar

In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, whipped topping, & egg. Beat with electric mixer till blended. (Batter will be very sticky) Drop by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar, roll to coat. Place on ungreased baking sheets & bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly brown. Let cool on sheets for 1 minute, then remove to racks to cool completely. Yield: 5 to 6 dozen.

Tracy's Note: I have also used orange cake mix, with good results.
