Pecan Bars


1 C. butter

1 C. brown sugar

2 C. flour

5 eggs, unbeaten

1 C. dark corn syrup

¾ C. sugar

1 ½ C. pecans, chopped

1 t. vanilla

dash salt

 

Cut butter into flour & brown sugar with a pastry blender and pat into a 9x13” pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350º; set aside.

Mix remaining ingredients & pour over warm, baked crust. Return to oven & continue baking at 325º for 45 minutes. Cool well before cutting into bars.
