Champagne Salad
1 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
¾ C. sugar
1 (10 oz.) pkg frozen strawberries, thawed
2 bananas, sliced or diced
½ C. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple, drained
Blend cream cheese & sugar. Mix in
thawed berries with bananas & nuts. Fold in whipped topping & pineapple.
Pour into a 9x13” pan & freeze. To serve, thaw for 15 minutes at room
temperature. Cut into squares & serve on lettuce leaves.
Note: For Christmas, add a drained small
jar of green maraschino cherries. For July 4th, add ½ C. of fresh
blueberries.
