Mom's Chocolate Praline Pie


1 baked 9 inch pie shell
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 large pkg. chocolate pudding
2 1/2 c. milk
whipped cream

Cook butter, sugar, and pecans until bubbly. Pour into pie shell and cool. Prepare pudding according to package directions using 2 1/2 cups milk. Pour into pie shell. Cool.
Top with whipped cream.
