That's just not nice.

An ATV track for my Nephew Alex's 11th birthday. I could NOT think of what to write on this cake, so I called my local Motorsports store (whose owner happens to be a friend of the Hubby's), and he went thru his t-shirt catalog. Many were funny, but SO not appropriate for eleven! Finally, he found the "Not too old to play in the mud" one, and that was it.

The cake is a 9x13", and the hills are half-cupcakes. It's all decorated in buttercream, I used colored piping gel for the mud puddle and brown sugar (mixed with some Disco Dust for sparkle) for over the brown icing 'trail' and around the bottom. I tell you, this was the best grass I've ever done with the #233 tip! It was coming out soooo nice, and I would bet that it was because I coated the inside of my bag with piping gel before putting in the icing. You can assume I'll be doin' that from here on out!
