That's just not nice.

The man who this birthday cake was ordered for has his own dirt-bike track behind his house. So, I thought he might like to have one on his cake, too! I tell you, this cake was speed-decorated. I had written down the wrong day that it was due (I know, you thought I was perfect- I guess I'm not ;-} ), and had about an hour and a half to do it & get it to his party after I got home from work. Luckily, a friend stopped by and was able to run to the store for sugar cones or he wouldn't have had trees on his cake! I used some cupcakes for the 'hills', and made him a nice mud puddle out of piping gel water over brown icing. The track is brown icing with brown sugar sprinkled over it. After it was done & delivered, my Hubby looked at the photos. He's been to the track, himself- and he told me that I had actually set up the cake's track the same way the real track is! Whoa- that was spooky.
