Pickleburgers


1-1/2 lb. ground beef..................1-1/2 t. salt

1/2 lb. ground lean pork.............1/2 t. pepper

1 C. milk....................................2/3 C. finely chopped dill pickle

2 eggs, beaten............................1/4 C. + 2 T. dill pickle liquid

3 C. Wheaties cereal..................12 hamburger buns

2 T. chopped onion

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix thoroughly all ingredients except pickle, pickle liquid & buns. Shape mixture into 12 patties; place in a greased jelly roll pan (15x10x1"). Bake uncovered 20 minutes. Mix pickles & pickle liquid; baste patties. Bake 30 minutes longer, basting occasionally. Serve in buns.
