Elegant Pudding Dessert
Crust:
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
Pudding Ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
5 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Blend crust ingredients. Pat into 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan. Bake 20 minutes in
300 degrees oven. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in at
least 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.
Using 2 1/2 cups of milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla in each package of pudding beat each until thick. Spread chocolate pudding on top of cheese mixture. Spread vanilla pudding on top of chocolate pudding. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Decorate with a few shaved chocolate pieces or nuts. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
