Bloomfield School Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 stick margarine, melted
1/2 c. milk
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. oatmeal
On burner, cream sugar, cocoa, milk and butter together; let boil hard 3 to 4
minutes. Remove from stove; blend in peanut butter and oatmeal to the mixture.
(Slowly add oatmeal; don't allow mixture to get too dry.) Form into desired size
by dropping (with a spoon) onto buttered cookie sheet; let cool. Makes a large
cookie sheet full.
