Amazing Fudgy Brownies

1 C. chopped pecans
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg (11.5 oz.) double-chocolate chips, melted & slightly cooled
20 Chocolate Creme Oreo cookies, ground, about 2 cups
1 can (16 oz.) chocolate frosting
Pecan halves

Line bottom & sides of an 8" square pan with enough foil to overhang two sides by 2". Heat dry nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chopped pecans to skillet; cook, stirring, until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes. remove from skillet; reserve.

In a bowl, combine condensed milk, melted chocolate, cookies & toasted pecans; press into pan. let stand till firm, at least 1 hour. Use foil to lift brownies from pan; remove foil. Spread brownies with frosting; cut into squares. Top each brownie with a pecan, if desired.
