Peach Pizza Pie

Crust:
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 c. sifted flour

Filling:
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. mace, cinnamon or nutmeg
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. red currant jelly
5 c. sliced ripe peaches or 2 (No. 2 1/2) cans peaches, drained

For crust: Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Blend in flour to make soft dough. Pat evenly on bottom and sides of 12-inch pizza pan. Prick well with fork and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
Combine cornstarch, sugar and nutmeg. Stir in orange juice. Add jelly. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils. Cook 2 minutes more. Cool slightly. Arrange peaches in single layer in baked shell. Spoon glaze over. Chill. Trim with whipped cream or topping. Makes 8 servings.
Other fruits may be substituted for peaches and a combination of fruits such as peaches or nectarines with blueberries is very nice. Another nice combination is straw berries with kiwi.
