Gooey cookies that will bring back memories of summers past!


22 honey graham crackers............1 egg

1/2 C. sugar.................................2 C. mini marshmallows

1/2 t. baking soda........................3/4 C. milk chocolate chips

1/2 C. butter or margarine, cut up

Line a 9 inch square pan with foil. In a food processor, crush graham crackers until very fine. Blend in sugar & baking soda. With machine on, drop in butter or margarine one piece at a time & process till well combined. Add egg & process until mixture begins to form a ball. Press into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. After baked, preheat broiler; sprinkle crust with marshmallows & chips. Broil 1 minute, cool. Cut into 2 inch squares. Yield: 16 squares, about 220 calories each.

Well I changed the recipe a bit and it worked alright.  Here's what I did (and I used a 9x13 pan, which is why I had to change some of it.)  I followed almost the same directions you gave except I don't have a food processor so I made sure the butter was really soft and used my mixmaster.
 
2 pkg graham crackers (20 big rectangles)
3/4 cup sugar
1 t. baking soda
1-1/2 sticks butter (next time I'll put in less butter)
2 eggs
4 Hershey bars
34 large marshmallows, each cut in half
When broiling, be very vigilant so the marshmallows don't blacken or flame up.
