Chocolate Popcorn
12 c. popped corn (about 2/3 c. popcorn)
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. dark corn syrup
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
Place popped corn in large open roasting pan. Cook over medium heat; heat sugar,
corn syrup and oleo to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in
chips and
vanilla and stir until chocolate is melted. Pour hot mixture over popped corn,
stirring to coat well. Bake corn 1 hour in a 250 degrees oven, stirring every 15
minutes. Cool and pack. Keeps a long time.
